We are seeking a motivated individual who will design, propose, and implement fiber-based technology solutions for potential/existing MDU/business customers.
The ideal candidate will be a person who loves to solve problems, has a passion for technology, and has excellent communications skills. The Solutions Engineer will focus on customers in the small/medium business segment, as well as large enterprise businesses, and MDUs. This includes sectors such as retail, government, education, industrial, medical, and more.

What You'll Be Doing
Your primary objective will be to gather customer needs, assess their current technology and connectivity environment, develop innovative and appropriate technology solutions, and present them to potential/existing customers. You will then manage the contract execution and build/execute a project plan for each installation or change working with our network engineers, construction team, etc. and see it to completion.
You will be identifying prospective customers in our network footprint in the small/medium business segment as well as enterprise segment, and MDUs. You may make initial contact with business/MDU owners and decision makers, or work with other sales team members, to inform them of our services and solutions.
You will partner with our engineering, infrastructure, and construction teams to develop custom fit solutions and propose them to customers.
Upon agreement by the customer, you will work with them to develop configuration and implementation plans.
Periodically, you will reach out to existing customers to identify opportunities to provide expanded services and additional solutions to serve their needs. It's imperative in this role you also work with customers to resolve any challenges or issues they are encountering at the time of installation, or afterwards.
You will be a product expert and must learn and understand Loop’s service offerings including but not limited to: fiber internet, dark fiber, DIA, VoIP, managed WiFi, ethernet, etc. along with custom solutions.
There will be an opportunity to periodically attend community events and networking opportunities with our sales and marketing team to meet with prospective clients and build relationships.
Education and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to initiate and develop relationships with business/MDU owners and decision makers.
Understanding of fiber internet, networking (physical and wireless), VoIP, and business computing technologies with a willingness to learn and understand Loop’s business/MDU offerings in depth.
Previous experience in both a sales or technology/IT role would be helpful.
$50,000 to $60,000 base salary per year based on experience
Commission for initial sales as well as upsells - uncapped!

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and to talk and hear, and lift 25 pounds or more. The associate must occasionally reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
