Facility and Maintenance Technician

Loop Internet is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Facility and Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and safety of our facilities. This role involves hands-on work to ensure our buildings, warehouses, offices, and field operations are in optimal working condition, supporting our mission to deliver consistent and uninterrupted service.

What You'll Be Doing
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on company buildings, systems, and equipment.
Manage repairs of electrical, mechanical, and general structural systems as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies across office and field locations.
Maintain the outside of the buildings, cutting grass, picking up debris, and making sure buildings are secure.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance.
Help warehouse team maintain warehouse inventory and inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and materials.
Ensure facility safety standards are met, including compliance with OSHA, fire codes, and other local regulations.
Assist in setup and organization of office or operational spaces.
Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records of repairs and inspections.
Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, safety improvements, or cost savings in facility operations.
Education and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in general maintenance, facility management, or a related field
Strong knowledge of building systems, hand and power tools, and troubleshooting techniques
Accountable and dependable with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in outdoor environments as needed
Willingness to work later or early hours as needed.
Experience in facility or maintenance work desired.
Experience working in telecom/utility industry a plus.

$23 to $26 an hour depending upon experience

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and to talk and hear. The associate must occasionally reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
